Prior to joining Gabelli, Evan was the Vice President of Business Development for Viatel. From 1990-1998, he was the senior European telecommunications research analyst with Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse First Boston in London. From 1979-1990, Mr. Miller held management roles in the telecommunications industry on both sides of the Atlantic with Pacific Bell, Sprint and British Telecom. Mr. Miller holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
Utilities Timothy Winter, CFA Mr. Winter, a Chartered Financial Analyst, joined Gabelli & Company in April of 2009 and covers the utility industry. He has over 17 years experience as an equity research analyst covering the utility industry, including the years 1992-2007 at AG Edwards from where he received industry recognition as a 3 time Wall Street Journal All-Star and was a senior member of the Institutional Investor (I.I.) #1 ranked Electric Utility Team for the years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. In 2007, he co-founded SM Research an institutional research platform and also served as a utility equity analyst at Jessup and Lamont. Mr. Winter received his MBA (concentration finance) from Notre Dame in 1992 and his BA (economics) from Rollins College in 1991.
