The Board of Directors of The Gabelli Global Multimedia Trust Inc. (NYSE - GGT) authorized a
final 1999 distribution of $0.075 per share payable on March 24, 2000 to shareholders of
record on March 16, 2000.
Of the distribution, $0.045 per share is from long term capital gains and is designated as a
"capital gain" distribution and the remaining portion of the distribution is derived from
short-term capital gains and is treated as ordinary income for federal income tax purposes.
