Christopher J. McDonald, CFA
Westwood SmallCap Equity Fund
 
Mr. MacDonald graduated from Syracuse University in May 1989 with an undergraduate degree in Finance. He achieved his Charted Financial Analyst Designation in 1999. He began his career with Putnam Mutual Funds, where he worked with the equity mutual funds group. Mr. MacDonald joined Southwest Securities in 1992 as a Compliance Registered Options Principal.

Mr. MacDonald joined Westwood Management in 1994 as a member of the research department. In 1995, Mr. MacDonald was assigned to Westwood's SmallCap Equity product as a research analyst. He was promoted in 1997, to Vice President & Associate Portfolio Manager and appointed Co-Portfolio Manager during the first quarter of 2002.

In addition to Mr. MacDonald's portfolio management responsibilities for the SmallCap Equity strategy, he has been the portfolio manager since inception for GAMCO Westwood Trust MultiCap Growth Fund that was established in 1999.
