MUTUAL FUNDS ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Compile and review quarterly, semiannual, and annual reports.
  • Compile and review prospectuses, statements of additional information, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Review form N-SAR, form 24f-2, and other data prepared by the fund administrator.
  • Compilation of materials included in the quarterly board books.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting or finance.
  • 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

    BRANCH OFFICE MANAGER

    Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a system of supervisory controls and procedures for the broker dealer and branches.
  • Partner with the Compliance department to satisfy regulatory requirements and administer compliance program.
  • Review Institutional Sales and marketing activities; approve website/Twitter posts.
  • Conduct review of OATS and TRACE reporting, AML alerts/risk management reports, and daily trade exception reports for sell side equity trading desk.
  • Supervision of G.research supervisors, portfolio managers, and branches.
  • Principal review of incoming and outgoing business correspondence.
  • Supervision of new account documentation.
  • G.research principal review of retail account activity and producing managers.
  • Preparation and submission of Canadian Regulator monthly AML reporting form for hedge fund sales.
  • Qualifications:
  • 3+ years broker dealer supervisory or compliance officer experience.
  • Motivated, goal oriented and confident with strong communication skills.
  • Broad familiarity and understanding of FINRA, SEC and state securities regulations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with, lead and motivate team members.
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
  • Investment management industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations required.

    STAFF ACCOUNTANT

    Responsibilities:
  • All aspects of accounting for several subsidiary entities, including preparation of journal entries.
  • Preparation of bank and broker reconciliations.
  • Preparation of financials on a monthly basis for inclusion in consolidation of the parent public company.
  • Preparation of annual audited financials, including liaising with external auditors.
  • Responsible for maintaining supporting schedules and files.
  • Responsible for detailed financial analysis on monthly results.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting.
  • Technology skills working with excel, word, and familiarity with general ledger applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and willingness/initiative to seek out and take on increasing responsibilities.
