MUTUAL FUNDS ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:
  • Create quarterly commentaries that describe the performance of the funds and holdings.
  • Gather information from analysts, portfolio managers, and mutual funds administration team, file materials with FINRA
  • Publish commentary and financial reports to the web
  • Create quarterly performance and attribution files for all mutual funds
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings of the Board of Directors
  • Assist in the assembly of Board books
  • Coordinate materials for audits, due diligence for underwriters before offerings / IPOs
  • Draft, edit and send audit and legal related filings and memos
  • Catalog and file expenses
  • Coordinate communication between Directors and officers and the internal team
  • Coordinate brokerage account changes and updates
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree from a reputable university with focus on Marketing / Communications
  • 0-2 years experience at financial institution
  • A strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

    INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE

    Responsibilities:
  • Business development and investment research and analysis in both private and public companies
  • Manage and assist in the preparation of financial models and business valuations
  • Assist with the execution of M&A and financing transactions, financial modeling, industry and comparable company analysis.
  • Conduct industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions.
  • Lead on the marketing and execution of mandates
  • Participate in substantial day-to-day client contact and client servicing.
  • The opportunity to build long-term external relationships and manage accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver standard and tailored presentations for new and existing business.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree from a reputable university
  • Min 3-7 years Investment Banking experience at a major firm post (CFA or MBA not preferred)
  • A strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in finance, accounting, financial modeling and valuation.

    FUNDS ADMINISTRATOR

    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for compiling and reviewing financial reports, prospectuses, and regulatory filings, as well as collecting and reviewing information needed for quarterly Board of Director meetings. Specific tasks include:

    Shareholder Reports:
  • Working with the fund administrators to compile information for each of the quarterly financial reports to shareholders.
  • Prospectus Review and Other Regulatory Filings:
  • Compile information for and review prospectuses and Statements of Additional Information.
  • Review form N-SAR, prospectus supplements, and other forms prepared by the fund administrator for accuracy.
  • Board Meeting Preparations:
  • Compile materials included in the quarterly board books.
  • Collection of transaction summaries required to be reported to the boards, including distribution expenses, 10f-3 transactions, 17a-7 interfund trades, 17e-1 affiliated brokerage, and 144a securities.
  • Compile materials required for annual 15(c) contract renewals.
  • Requirements:
  • 4 year college degree. Preferably an accounting or finance major.
  • 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

    BUSINESS PROGRAMMER

    Responsibilities:
  • Assist in determining our technology objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Understand the firm's data and ensure its integrity during upgrades and conversions.
  • Design and document system architecture and associated designs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Ability to design systems with sufficient modularity so that components in one system can be easily integrated as enhancements in other systems.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in CS/IS or related field.
  • 10+ years relevant experience.
  • Proficient with Oracle, SQL, Fiserv APL, Ruby, Python and Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Access databases, some with extensive coding in VBA, others used as menus and front ends to Ruby scripts.
  • ODBC connections to Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and other SQL based databases.
  • Ability to carry heavy computer equipment (up to 40lbs)

    HELPDESK ADMINISTRATOR

    Responsibilities:
  • Assist in helpdesk troubleshooting and technical phone support
  • Responsible for PC and software updates and rollouts
  • Develop reports in Microsoft Access pulling information from various databases and tables
  • Responsible for maintaining IT inventory
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in CS/IS or related field.
