Four classes of the Fund’s shares are offered
– Class A Shares, Class B Shares,Class C Shares, and Class I Shares.
Class I Shares may be purchased only by
institutions that make an initial investment of at least $500,000 if the investor
purchases the shares directly through Gabelli & Company, Inc., the Fund’s
distributor, or brokers that have entered into selling
agreements with the Distributor specifically with respect to Class I shares.
Class B Shares are not currently available other than exchanges from Class B
shares of other Gabelli funds. The table below summarizes the
differences among the classes of shares.
- A "front-end sales load" or sales charge is a one-time fee
charged at the time of purchase of shares.
- A "contingent deferred sales charge" ("CDSC") is a one-time
fee charged at the time of redemption.
- A "Rule 12b-1 fee" is a recurring annual fee for distributing
shares and servicing shareholder accounts based on the Fund’s
average daily net assets attributable to the particular class of
shares.
