ObjectiveThe Gabelli Global Rising Income and Dividend Fund seeks to provide investors with a high level of total return through a combination of current income and appreciation of capital.
Principal Investment Strategies:
The Fund may appeal to you if:
The Gabelli Global Rising Income and Dividend Fund
The Fund's share price will fluctuate with changes in the market value of the Fund's portfolio securities. Stocks are subject to market, economic and business risks that cause their prices to fluctuate. When you sell Fund shares, they may be worth less than what you paid for them. Consequently, you can lose money by investing in the Fund.
The Fund is classified as a “non-diversified” mutual fund, which means that a greater proportion of its assets may be invested in the
securities of a single issuer than a “diversified” mutual fund. As a non-diversified mutual fund, more of the Fund’s assets may be focused
in the common stocks of a small number of issuers, which may make the value of the Fund’s shares more sensitive to changes in
the market value of a single issuer or industry than shares of a diversified mutual fund. Investing in foreign securities involves risks not
ordinarily associated with investment in domestic issues including currency fluctuations, economic and political risks.
Effective April 30, 2013, The Fund changed its name from The GAMCO Vertumnus Fund to The Gabelli Global Rising Income and Dividend Fund.
