Objective

The Gabelli Global Rising Income and Dividend Fund seeks to provide investors with a high level of total return through a combination of current income and appreciation of capital.

Principal Investment Strategies:
Invests primarily in common stocks of foreign and domestic issuers that the Fund's portfolio management team believes are likely to produce income and have the potential for above average capital appreciation. The Fund may also invest in convertible securities, which include bonds, debentured, corporate notes, preferred stocks, and other similar securities which are convertible or exchangeable for common stock within a particular time period at a specified price or formula, of foreign and domestic companies.

The Fund may appeal to you if:

  • you seek growth of capital
  • you seek to diversify your investments outside the United States

You may not want to invest in the Fund if:

  • you are seeking a high level of current income

Effective April 30, 2013, The Fund changed its name from The GAMCO Vertumnus Fund to The Gabelli Global Rising Income and Dividend Fund.
