The past performance noted does not guarantee future results. Total returns and average annual returns reflect changes in share price, reinvested dividends and capital gains and are net of expenses. Due to market volatility, current performance may be lower or higher than the figures shown. If expenses had not been limited to 2.0% of net assets, returns would have been lower. Investment results and the principal value of an investment will fluctuate. When shares are redeemed, they may be worth more or less than their original cost.
Performance is for Class AAA only. Other share classes may have different performance charecteristics.
The historical performance of Class AAA Shares is used to calculate performance for Class A, B and C shares prior to their issuance on December 31, 2002. The Adviser had contractually agreed to waive its investment advisory fee and/or to reimburse expenses of the Fund to the extent necessary to maintain the Total Annual Fund Operating Expenses (excluding brokerage, interest, taxes, and extraordinary expenses) at no more than 2.00% for the Class AAA Shares. The fee waiver/expense reimbursement arrangement terminated on December 31, 2005.

The value of utility stocks changes as long-term interest rates change. Funds investing in a single sector, such as utilities, may be subject to more volatility than funds that invest more broadly. The utilities industries can be significantly affected by government regulation, financing difficulties, supply or demand of services, or fuel and natural resources conservation.

The Fund's share price will fluctuate with changes in the market value of the Fund's portfolio securities. Stocks are subject to market, economic and business risks that cause their prices to fluctuate. When you sell Fund shares, they may be worth less than what you paid for them. Consequently, you can lose money by investing in the Fund.

Investors should consider the investment objectives, risks, sales charges and expense of the fund carefully before investing. The prospectus contains more complete information about this and other matters. The prospectus should be read carefully before investing.
